The GAREX "JIMPÔ " is a portable version of the well-known SLIM JIM design. It is easy to use, very lightweight and can be rolled up to make a compact unit, perfect for travel.

If you are unable to rig an outside fixed aerial at your home location, then the "JIMPÔ " fits the bill.

When used with a hand-held rig, the "JIMPÔ" gives a great improvement over the usual "rubber duckie". Typical improvement may be over 6dB.

The "JIMPÔ " is pre-tuned. Use of the SLIM JIM design results in an excellent match across the full 144-146MHz band.

It comprises a radiating section made from ribbon cable which can be folded neatly for travel or storage, and a feeder matching unit housed in a compact plastic tube. It comes ready fitted with 4 metres of high quality co-axial cable and a BNC (**) plug. A cord is provided to allow suspension from any convenient point.

The GAREX "JIMPÔ " is BRITISH MADE and spare parts are readily available from the manufacturer.

Packaged, the whole aerial is less than 25cm (10") long.
